Acoustic Consultants

The acoustic consultancy division provides services to commercial and domestic clients i.e. architects, surveyors, project managers for various small to large projects in the UK and Overseas. All our acoustic consultants are highly experienced and continuously receive external and in house training to keep their skills up to date.

The division has an acoustic design team and a Testing and Investigation Unit.

The acoustic design team provides detailed CAD design for various projects including: recording studio design , music rooms for education establishments, schools, sound proofing design for new build and conversions to meet Part ‘E’ of the building regulations.

Apart from the experience in the department, we use worldwide recognized professional software including AutoCAD, Odeon, Dirac, Insul etc. We also have an ongoing program of analyzing the results from our test data which provides invaluable research into how well various products work as well as providing feedback for our design performance.

The Testing and Investigation Unit provide comprehensive field testing including pre completion sound testing , air leakage testing and noise assessments . We are a UKAS accredited organization for sound insulation testing our air tightness testing staff are BINDT registered. Our technical staff are members of the IOA ( Institute of Acoustics ).

Security Sweeps - Electronics Counter Surveillance

This specialist division is known as COSEC International. COSEC International provides specialist international Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) - sometimes known as electronic counter surveillance, security sweeps or debugging - for corporate and private clients who may be under threat from electronic surveillance.

The team has the latest advanced professional passive and electronics counter surveillance equipment to search for and locate surveillance devices or 'bugs'. The sweeps include searching and locating Infra red, video, burst, encrypted, spread spectrum and frequency hopping transmitters. This covers serious professional bugs, not just ‘domestic’ transmitters that can be purchased by anyone at ‘spy’ shops in London.
